Greetings, and welcome to the windy, I mean beautiful
month of April in the Southwest!
This month we have an exciting feature on finding your
bliss at Santa Fe spas, there's something for everyone!
We also have several Easter specials from carrot facial
to delectable meals. We take a deep look into the
work of Elmer "Skinny" Schooley, a a printmaker who
created imagery of northern New Mexico in lithographs,
woodcut, aquatints and pastels. Our new Yoga Zone
offers suggestions on becoming a vegetarian (or trying
to) in a middle class American household as well as a
look at the pose of the fish. Lastly, we take a
ride with Billy the kid, as The Billy the Kid Trail Ride
begins in Ft. Sumner May 9, 2009 and travels 125 miles
to Lincoln over the same route that Billy the Kid used
to move between Lincoln and Ft. Sumner after his
infamous escape from the Lincoln County Jail in April
1881. I hope you enjoy
this month's issue of Southwest Flair Magazine!
