PHOENIX, Ariz. -- A dazzling masterpiece of glistening gumdrops and sugary icing, the Christmas Around the World Gingerbread Village at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa is sure to awe the entire family this holiday season.

The award-winning culinary team at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa spent more than 400 hours creating the 16-foot by 16-foot work of art. The village was constructed with 350 pounds of gingerbread cookie dough, 120 pounds of chocolate, 120 pounds of candies and gum drops, and 75 pounds of nuts and dried fruits.
The Gingerbread Village is open to the public from Dec. 7 to Jan. 3 in the grand lobby of the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa located at 5350 E. Marriott Drive in Phoenix.
