Art Night in Cave Creek

Five galleries showcase the latest in artwork and design
Downtown Historic Cave Creek (West of Schoolhouse Road)

Creek Rd.
Cave Creek Gallery Association invites guests to stroll
under starlight in the cool Cave Creek air this fall and
enjoy distinctive paintings, sculptures, and more in a
wide variety of styles from traditional to contemporary
from some of the valley’s most prominent artists. The
popular Friday evening “Art Night” embarks visitors on a
journey to discover new summer pieces at Level 9
Gallery, Steven DeWitt Perrin Gallery, Galeria Bellas
Artes, D. Lyon Art Gallery and Studio C4 Gallery.
Refreshments, appetizers, and a drawing to win a
restaurant gift certificate will be available in
addition to this month’s featured silent auction piece.

Throughout Downtown Cave Creek, Cave Creek,
Arizona
This Halloween, the town of Cave Creek gets
“wicked” crazy with its first annual holiday
event. Coady’s Smokehouse & Grill will feature
an incredibly terrifying haunted house and five
of the town’s best restaurants will feature
specialty themed cocktails including the Soco
Zombie and Tuacca Lemon Drop, sponsored by
Southern Comfort Spirits. |
Guests are
invited to cruise down the streets of Cave Creek
stopping at popular locations such as Los
Mesquite Taqueria, Cave Creek Coffee Company &
C4 Martini & Wine Bar, Buffalo Chip, Harolds and
the Hideaway. There will be chances to win cash
prizes up to $2500.00 for best costume, most
creative, sexiest, etc. at each location!
The town will also be adorned in festive
decorations and individual holiday family
activities will be available including: Haunted
Houses, children and pet costume parades, a dunk
tank, horse costume contest, Pumpkin carving,
Mummy wrapping contest, Psychic readings,
Thriller street dances and more!

A Scottsdale Tradition
Returns – 20th Annual “Western ArtWalk”
Downtown Scottsdale, Oct. 15, 2009, 7-9 pm
The 20th annual Western ArtWalk returns to the “West’s
Most Western Town” and the Scottsdale Arts District.
The Western ArtWalk is held each Fall during the Cowboy
Artists of America Show at Phoenix Art Museum.
Western-themed live music. Free restaurant samplings,
awesome prize giveaways and other special doings can be
found along the ArtWalk route in celebration of
Scottsdale’s western heritage.
Scottsdale Arts District is along Main Street, just west
of Scottsdale Road, and along Marshall Way north and
south of Indian School Road up to Stetson and ARTScene

The Las Vegas GirlFestival 2009! September 17,
2009 – All - female bands, female fronted bands, and
female musicians will converge in the Nevada desert as
the Las Vegas GirlFestival 2009! embarks on its third
edition of this cutting edge cultural celebration. The
festival takes place October 17th.- 26th. and is quickly
establishing itself as one of the premier female music
and arts festival of its kind in the United States. LVGF
2009! will also spotlight an eclectic array of art,
dance, film, poetry, fashion and comedy by some of
today’s best established and up and coming female
artists.
This 10 day event appeals to multi- generational
audiences and will also feature exhibits, vendors, and
green-living products at multiple locations and stages
in Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Country Saloon has just been
added to the list of venues which also includes: the
Beauty Bar, Gallos Rock N' Pizza, GameWorks, Bruce Trent
Park, Borders Books, Sam Ash Music, The Historic 5th.
Street School Courtyard, and The Platinum Hotel pool.
The festival is being produced by the
WorldFolkorganization and Diesel Rocket Promotions. The
purpose of the LVGF is to showcase the great
contributions that women artists provide to the world!
