Strada Colors Santan Village
First Annual Italian Street Festival Brightens
Gilbert
SanTan Village in Gilbert Arizona is hosting a one of
kind event on April 10 and 11. Bella Strada, the Italian
street painting festival will be coloring the streets of
SanTan. Guests of all ages are invited to attend. Little
Italy is offered for kids to actually participate in the
program and create master pieces of their own.
Cuong T Shirts
This unique event invites over 150 artists to chalk the
streets of SanTan Village and create over 100 images of
incredible modern art, original design and reproductions
of well known masterpieces. Along with amazing
creations, guests are invited to the free event and
enjoy free music performed by local artists and
performance groups. The performers include: The Talent
Team, Cindy Standage and FireFly.
Storming Castle
Julie Kirk is one of the many artists that will be
participating in this event. Julie is able to come in
studio and give a brief sample of what guests can expect
April 10 and 11. Julie has created masterpieces for Walk
Disney as well as in Hong Kong.
Artists from around the world as well as our own
backyard will start their creations as early as
Wednesday, April 7th. Saturday and Sunday, April 10 and
11 the works of art will be on display for guests of all
ages to enjoy.
Kid's Square
From 10am- 6pm both days,
kids can participate in Little Italy. Located near the
Disney Store, children are encouraged to create their
own street painting. This area quickly will become a
massive tapestry of color and inspiration as hundreds of
youngsters create a miniature masterpiece using a
palette of chalk and their imagination. In addition to
the street art, there will be face painting, children’s
activities and strolling street performers. Each
participating child will receive a box of pastel’s to
keep and a photo of them with their artwork. The cost is
$10 and the proceeds will be donated to Save the
Family’s youth program.
Guests are encouraged to bring an appetite as well. On
Saturday, April 10th from 6-9pm Restaurante di SanTan
will start. The cost is $10 per person or $8 per person
for a family of 4 or more.
The restaurants of SanTan Village will come together to
feature delicious delicacies to savor every appetite.
Each restaurant will offer scrumptious servings of their
house specialties. To compliment the fine foods, there
will be live music for all to enjoy.
Proceeds from Restaurante di SanTan will support Save
the Family.
