Born and raised in
Albuquerque, New Mexico, Jerome Gonzales became a
hairstylist in the mid 1980s at the age of 17. He worked
in Albuquerque until 1990. In 1990 an opportunity
presented itself in Las Vegas, Nevada, allowing him to
pursue his unique vision and perfect his craft as a
hairstylist. After many years behind the chair, Gonzales
became a sought after stylist in the Las Vegas valley.
His success is due to many factors that include his
drive to perfect his craft, attention to detail and
listening to his clients needs and wants.
In May of 2003, Gonzales
joined an international hair color company as a national
technical trainer educating hairstylist throughout the
United States. In 2005, an opportunity arose in
television, and Gonzales was a finalist on the TLC
Network’s What Not to Wear/Wannabe reality show. That
very same year Jerome had the opportunity to work as the
key colorist for Celebrity Stylist David Evangelista on
the CBS’s The Morning Show.
Now back in Albuquerque,
Gonzales works behind the chair at Hair Ink Salon &
Tattoo Studio in the historic Nob Hill district.
Gonzales recently joined another hair color company as a
trainer, and also works with works with DHP Multimedia
LLC, a local multimedia production company and creators
of the
www.SantaFeTVShow.com as co-host of the show's style
segments.
After more than twenty-four years in the business
Gonzales has achieved SHEAR PERFECTION. Gonzales offers
many services that include personalized hair color,
highlights, 2 types of hair extensions; the Brazilian
Blow dry hair-smoothing system, as well as the latest
global haircuts.
