Dancing into Silence interweaves individual songs to create a continuous musicscape featuring the haunting sound of Native American flute, the rich harmonies and timbres of harp guitar, and subtle textures of world ethnic percussion.

This CD is a departure from the past collaborations from these three outstanding musical talents. Largely improvisational, the music of the flute, strings and drum seem to speak to each other, at times drifting and dreamy, at others light and energetic.

The title track uses mellow flute tones reminiscent of bird song that blends beautifully with the strings and drum, creating a sound that is truly "world music". This CD offers the listener a variety of auditory experiences and is conducive to creating a soothing atmosphere.
