New Year's greetings from
Southwest Flair!
This year we plan to
bring you a calendar packed full of fashion, health &
beauty, travel, cuisine and the arts from around the
Southwest! Since our turn towards a fashion focus
last fall, our visitors and traffic have doubled and it
has been a very exciting ride and we hope to grow even
more in the coming year. This month marks our
fifth year and we want to thank all of our readers for
your interest and support.
Some fashion highlights
to watch for this year will be the The Pin Show in
Dallas, Couture Fashion Week Dallas, Aspen Fashion Week,
a return to Scottsdale Fashion Week and maybe a peek at
LA Fashion Week as well along with much, much more.
As for January, we're
kicking this month off with 'Rejuvenate in January,'
offering everything from head to toe for a new you in
the new year. Also wearing winter white; a look at
one hundred years of film on the American Riviera;
Designing Marilyn: with a look at the man behind those
fabulous clothes from high fashion designers Kimberley
Ashley and Robert Black as they present the iconic
designs of Bill Travilla, best known for creating
Marilyn Monroe's illustrious film costumes. We'll
take a shopping trip to scenic Sedona, Arizona and a
look at Aspen's Winterskol event.
