The interior
designer and gallery owner of Level 9 in Cave
Creek couldn’t find cool lamps that fit her
interior design needs. So, she turned to
entrepreneur and former semiconductor engineer
Martin Meulenbeek for inspiration and
assistance.
Meulenbeek, who
began designing and building innovative lamp
designs in 2007 tapped into his technical skills
to create lamp designs that are both
breathtaking and one-of-a-kind. The artistic
fixtures, which range from $200 to $800, often
incorporate rakku, forged metal blacksmith
pieces and unique blown glass fixtures.
As the eclectic
pieces began to sell, Meulenbeek, who hails from
Holland, began collecting myriad of unique
metal, ceramic and other materials to make the
base pieces in his lighting fixtures even more
distinctive.
Today, the Fraai®
line of lighting (Dutch for “chic”) is growing
in popularity and Level 9 Gallery in downtown
Cave Creek now exclusively offers Meulenbeek’s
products.
Check out these Dutch treats when it is time to
design your client’s home or office environs. |
