star of the country-western scene also has established
herself as a singer-songwriter in the indie-rock world.
On her latest album, The
List, she reinterprets the classic songs that shaped her
as an artist, culled from a list of essential country
tunes that her father, Johnny Cash, shared with her at
age 18.
