Tuscany Signature Cocktail
Limoncello Martini

 

If you are a fan of the book or movie, Under the Tuscan Sun, and have yet to travel to Italy, you are probably yearning to try the noted Limoncello which Mayes sipped while on the beautiful Amalfi coast in the town of Positano.  Here's your chance: Enjoy the recipe below or visit the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa for a special treat.

 

Ingredients   1 ounce                Limoncello 2 ounces              Citrus vodka 1/4 ounce             Simple syrup 3                          Lemon wedges 1                          Verbena sprig

 

 

Preparation

Fill shaker with ice, squeeze lemon juice and add the Limoncello and the citrus vodka.

Shake, strain and serve in a martini glass with an herbed-sugar rim.
