Actor Wes Studi Receives Life-Time
Achievement Award
and is the first person inducted into the New Mexico
Film Society Hall of Fame.

Wes was honored for his outstanding achievements as an
actor and activist for Native Americans. Wes has been in
more than 65 productions and films spanning 25 years.
During the awards ceremony, some of Studi's 25 years of
work in films was showcased in clips. Those clips
included pieces of "Pow Wow Highway," "Dances With
Wolves," "The Last of the Mohicans," "Geronimo: An
American Legend," "Heat," "Bury My Heart at Wounded
Knee" and "Avatar."
