INFO: Halloween 2010 sets the stage for a wicked crazy
celebration called the Great Pumpkin Smash at Cave Creek
Coffee Company! Guests are invited to join in on an all
day event on Saturday, October 30th with a deadly
pumpkin carving contest beginning at 11:00am, sponsored
by winemaker, Michael David of Seven Deadly Zins. Top
three winners of the “spookiest” pumpkin will receive
either a (1st place) 3 liter of wine and a gift card,
(2nd place) magnum of wine and a gift card, or (third
place) a liter of wine and a gift card.
Later on, the party gets crazy as party-goers dance the
night away to ghoulish live music by Suite 88; sip on
chilling themed cocktails; Launch a pumpkin in the
Pumpkin Toss Contest, sponsored by Hensley distributing
company, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd craft beer prizes will be
awarded to the farthest landing pumpkin, and compete in
a costume contest for “best,” “sexiest” and “most
disturbing,” attire with chances to win up to $1500.00
in cash!

The Doña Ana Arts Council and the Rio Grande Theatre
are proud to sponsor the second annual fundraiser for
Las Esperanzas, the historic preservation society
dedicated to the preservation of the Mesquite Street
Historic & Original Town Site District. Joining in the
festivities, live on stage, will be local band Genie and
the Starliners, with a special outdoor presentation by
the Old Memory Car Club, on the Downtown Mall.
