Great Boots for Fall

Boots are a must for fall and any wardrobe and are one thing that never goes out of style. A good basic pair of boots can carry you for years. Or if you prefer the trendy looks of each season then that option is there as well.

There are many styles to choose from: riding boots, cowboy boots, high fashion boots (especially this season’s new booties) with different heights from ankle cuffs to mid calf, just below the knee and over the knee if you’re real daring.

Colors that work best for fall are earth tones in beige, camel or brown, and basic black is always a good choice. Textures vary and most are leather or faux leather or suede. Suede is difficult to clean and care for so keep this in mind, especially if purchasing for day-to-day wear, you may want to have them treated to repel water, mud, etc. Stay away from light colors (also hard to clean and not very fall) as well as vinyls, that was the sixties.
