Labor Day Weekend Festivities Highlight New Mexico’s Adventure Calendar

WineriesHorse RacingConcerts

Don’t think of Labor Day Weekend as the end of summer fun for 2010; think of it as the beginning of New Mexico’s golden season.

“Millions of acres of solitude; days accentuated by blue skies, and cool, quiet evenings spent under the stars; unique southwestern festivals; and fall colors blanketing the landscape: This is a magical time in the Land of Enchantment,” said Michael Cerletti, Secretary of the New Mexico Tourism Department. “It is a time of both relaxation and adventure. Get out and enjoy yourself.”

Activities statewide Labor Day Weekend (September 3-6, 2010) run the gamut - from feast days to studio tours, from arts and crafts festivals to train rides, from farmer’s markets to wine festivals to horse racing.
