Two Sisters Inn -
a bed and breakfast is owned by Wendy Goldstein
and Sharon Smith, Innkeepers since 1990. Two
Sisters Inn is an award-winning 5-room Bed and
Breakfast in the center of the quaint mountain
town of Manitou Springs, Colorado, the "largest
historic district west of the Mississippi" at
the base of Pikes Peak.

The town of Manitou
Springs is filled with historic inns and B&B's, and is
known as the Saratoga of the West for its numerous
drinking mineral springs. It has quite a health culture
going back over 125 years when the British discovered
the springs, and eons before when the Native American
tribes came from the Mountains and the Plains to cure
their ills. After the Indians drank the "magic waters",
they would go to the nearby Garden of the Gods for their
religious ceremonies. The red sandstone formations in
the Garden are really awe inspiring!
Manitou Springs
celebrates Pikes Peak, "America's Mountain", where
Katherine Lee Bates wrote America the Beautiful after
climbing to the top of the Peak. Two Sisters Inn offers
many soft adventure packages that highlight this unique
area.
As for their story...
Two Sisters Inn is a dream come true for Sharon and
Wendy. Once upon a time...these two enterprising women
decided to make their fairy tale a reality!
Wendy was born and raised in New York and worked in
architecture for 11 years before obtaining a degree in
Culinary Arts. Sharon was born and raised in Toronto,
Canada, then relocated to Los Angeles to work in the
legal profession for 13 years. They had been friends for
years, with a family connection.
Craving a change of pace and creative outlet, Sharon
went east to join Wendy in her established catering
business. Later, the fulfillment of a dream and
wanderlust prompted them to 'cash out' and buy a 20' RV
and start their odyssey looking for the perfect place to
open their Bed & Breakfast.
After a year, and 37 States later, they found the
Victorian town of Manitou Springs, Colorado, with
majestic Pikes Peak and a welcoming community. They fell
in love with their charming 1919 Victorian Bungalow and
Cottage, and after restoration, opened in July, 1990.
Their affinity for people, sense of fun, and creativity
in cooking make an ideal combination for Innkeepers.
They've been welcoming guests ever since...like magic!
