Tash and Elena -
Indigie Femm
The powerful energies of Tash, Bitter Water
Clan, Navajo Nation and Elena, Maori / Samoan

Both our
featured groups, Indigie Femm,
and E. Christina Herr and the Wild
Frontier, comprise unique talent and
beautiful music, and are definitely two
groups you will want to hear.
Please visit their MySpace sites for a
sampling of their music.
As
someone who has been reviewing women's
Indie music internationally for the past
ten years, I was dually impressed to
find these talents in my own backyard.
They are fresh, provocative, and each
their own; finding a natural blend
between the cultural, the geographical
and the universal, through a southwest
state of mind. |

E. Christina Herr
E. Christina Herr leads the band ~ Wild
Frontier
through the rugged Western Gothic Landscape.
Her eye on the Horizon ever searching the
Constant Beauty of the Sky for signs of an
approaching Storm or a fleeting Oasis.
Inspired by the old Souls of Trees, Ancient
Minerals & Bodies of Water ~
Telling Stories of the New ~ Old Frontier ~
Blending Americana ~ Alt Country ~
Folk and Rock'n Roll ~ to create Songs of
Lonesome Roads, Devil Winds, alluring Rivers,
startling Rock Formations and the Romance of
Decaying Buildings & Graveyards.
The Songs sound like gentle Lullabies until you
listen to the words and find them to be
Cautionary Tales.
Playful Melodies mask dark Mysteries revealing
an emotional forecast within each song's
Borders.
Wild Frontier interprets these songs from the
ground up. From the pure simplicity of two
Vintage Acoustic Guitars to the full blown
dynamics of a 5 Piece Rock Band.
Christina & the members of Wild Frontier live
near the red waters of the Rio Grande in New
Mexico.
Cottonwood trees perched with Bald Eagles
watching their nests. Walking the Petrogylph
