4th Annual Phoenix Cooks! To Be
Held Labor Day Weekend at the Arizona Biltmore
Host Resort Offering VIP Gourmet Package For The Event
PHOENIX, AZ, – Set your timer for a mouth-watering,
activity-packed epicurean Labor Day weekend at the
legendary Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa when the resort
will be hosting the 4th annual “Phoenix Cooks!”
Phoenix Cooks! gourmet food and kitchen show,
which is an annual tradition at the Arizona Biltmore, is
Arizona’s premier culinary event and among the top shows
in the country. It features cooking demonstrations, wine
tastings, exhibits of dream kitchens, a marketplace with
the latest cooking products, gourmet dining events, and
more.

Package at the Biltmore for Phoenix Cooks 2008:
As the host resort, the Arizona Biltmore has cooked up
an exceptional two-night package from August 29-31, for
those food and wine aficionados who wanted to indulge in
a weekend full of culinary adventures. The Phoenix
Cooks! 2008 package consists of a
two-night/three-day stay in a luxuriously appointed
room, a VIP chef’s amenity, and admission to the main
events at the show including the Parade of Chef’s
Reception, the Phoenix Cooks! event, the Wine Maker
Dinner and the Chef’s Champagne Brunch (event
descriptions are below). Package price is $399 per
person, based on double occupancy,
or $499
for single occupancy. Room tax and resort fee
are included.

Parade of Chefs
Reception – Friday, August 29, 6:00 p.m.
This festive reception, held in the Grand Ballroom, will
feature chefs of the Arizona Biltmore: Executive Chef
Todd Sicolo, Wright’s Chef de Cuisine Conor Favre and
Executive Pastry Chef Thomas Huebner. They will be
preparing and serving some of their signature
specialties, each paired with wines from various
regions. There will also be Light jazz entertainment.
The ticket price for the event is an inclusive cost of
$85 per person.
Phoenix Cooks!,
Arizona’s Premier Culinary Event – Saturday, August 30,
10 a.m.- 3 p.m.
Held at various venues throughout the resort, this
day-long event includes Arizona’s best chefs in action
on gourmet custom kitchen stages, interactive-food-forum
cooking and wine classes, wine and spirits tastings,
samplings from the Valley’s top restaurants and various
marketplaces of the latest cooking products and kitchen
accessories. Phoenix Cooks! supports Phoenix
Children’s Hospital. The cost is $80/person in advance,
or $95 per person at the door. The tickets for this
specific event may be purchased on line at

Wine Maker Dinner
– Saturday, August 30, 7 p.m.
Held in the resort’s historic and iconic Gold Room, the
Wine Maker Dinner will feature an inspired,
one-of-a-kind gourmet menu created by Arizona Biltmore
Executive Chef Todd Sicolo and Executive Pastry Chef
Thomas Huebner. Each of the five courses of this
culinary extravaganza will be complemented by a
different featured premium wine.
The ticket price for this event is an inclusive
cost of $125 per person.
Chef’s Champagne
Brunch – Sunday, August 31, 11 a.m.
What better way to top off the Phoenix Cooks!
weekend than by indulging in an award-winning Sunday
Brunch. The spectacular champagne brunch, held in the
Grand Ballroom and accented with live entertainment,
will include an extensive selection of a la carte
entrees, seafood specialties, sushi, chilled salads,
fresh fruits, an international cheese display, a
delectable assortment of homemade pastries, muffins,
parfaits and breads. The ticket price for this event is
an inclusive cost of $55 per person.
