Lon's Unveils Tantalizing Summer Menu:
Bounty of the
Season Inspired Culinary Team at Boutique Hotel
The culinary staff at Lon's celebrates the
summer season with a creative and inspired menu incorporating the
region’s best seasonal produce. Inspired by the lively robust
flavors of summer, Executive Chef Michael Rusconi and his culinary
team have created a lighter, but full-flavored summer season.
According to Chef Rusconi, “the seasons have always defined our
cooking here in Arizona. We anticipate and welcome the first catch
of Alaskan Halibut, and soft shell crab from Maryland. Spring
produce offerings like baby Castroville Artichokes, Fava beans, wild
ramps and Morel mushrooms, as well as red kuri squash, celeriac,
Porcini mushrooms and Black Truffles in the fall.
We are very excited to offer our guests the bounty of the
summer season.”
The new summer
menus include: Citrus scented
Dungeness crab salad with gazpacho gelee, Grilled Filet of Salmon
with Blackberry shellac and heirloom potatoes and a Salad of
Heirloom Tomatoes with artisan cheese and Lon’s Basil.
LON's, an AAA Four Diamond award winning
restaurant, is a ruggedly elegant dining room with wood-beamed
ceilings, vintage Western artifacts and beehive fireplaces that
accent the meandering dining space, creating a welcoming and
intimate atmosphere. Executive Chef Michael Rusconi presents
Artful American Cuisine—a bold and contemporary take on
the multitude of foods originating in the Western Hemisphere, with a
nod to both the past and the present.
The Hermosa Inn is a boutique hotel located in
the exclusive residential neighborhood of Paradise Valley. Ruggedly
distinctive interiors showcasing the artwork of Lon Megargee are
found in each of the 35 individually decorated guest rooms.
