13–November 24, 2007 The Galveston Arts Center is
pleased to announce the opening of three exhibitions by
women artists from Texas:
Second Nature: Beverly Penn and Susan Davidoff
Marianne Green: Disparate Housewife and Other Concerns
Joy Christiansen: Domestic Encounters An opening
reception will be hosted during ArtWalk on Saturday,
October 13, from 6 to 9 pm. A gallery talk with curator
Clint Willour and the artists will be held for GAC
members beginning at 5 p.m. The exhibition will remain
on view through November 24, 2007. GAC exhibitions are
always free and open to the public.
