RAWHIDE RETURNS WITH ITS ANNUAL SPOOKTACULAR

“DOOMTOWN” HALLOWEEN ATTRACTION 

 

CHANDLER, Ariz.-(July 22, 2008) - Rawhide at Wild Horse Pass celebrates the Halloween holiday during the month of October and beginning of November with its return of Doomtown!  Rawhide’s Wild West town will be decorated in Halloween theme with glowing Jack-O-Lanterns and spider webbing, while headless horsemen, Ghost Riders, Digger Payne, Dr. Mortimer Morbius, and other creepy western characters will be disbursed throughout the haunted town.  Starting at 6:00 p.m., children and adults alike are invited to experience the spine-chilling haunted house called The Crypt, brought together by Cryptic Illusions.  The haunted house is an 8,000 square foot walk-through featuring a haunted asylum that has been taken over by deceased patients, and an Executioners Arena where guests will have a face to face interaction with the Crypt Keeper himself!   

In addition, Rawhide’s train will transform into a spooktacular ride called the “Train of Terror,” where guests are able to view old western graveyards and more!  The  performances at the Six Gun Theatre and Spirit of the West will change to a more haunting and illusionary theme, while the kids are able to visit the Kreepy Kids Zone, hosted by the Friendly Witch featuring Halloween story time, themed arts and crafts and candy treats.    

Doomtown will be open October 3-5th, 10-12th, 17-19th, 22-26th, 29th-31st, and November 1st and 2nd.  Admission and parking at Rawhide is FREE.  Kids are also invited to dress up and Trick-or-Treat throughout Main Street on October 30th and 31st.
