Deliscious food in Santa Fe

New Restaurants in Santa Fe

The Culinary Arts in Santa Fe are as varied and unique as Santa Fe itself. The newest additions to the restaurant elite range from organic tea houses to a Mark Miller-inspired treasure.

Enjoy an organic tea and vegetarian lunch made from local seasonal ingredients at the Green Palace Teahouse, located at 209 E. Palace Avenue.

If you're craving something different, give Restaurant Mauka a try. Chef Joel Coleman's innovative cuisine features organic local ingredients paired with fresh fish, flown in from Hawaii, in a fusion of Hawaiian and Asian flavors. Mauka is located at 544 Agua Fria Road, near Sanbusco Shopping Center.

Terra Restaurant will be opening soon at the Encantado Resort, and will feature Modern Rustic Cuisine, in an intimate setting with mountain views. Encantado Resort is located at 198 State Road 592, just past the Village of Tesuque.

The owners of La Boca, Chef James Campbell Caruso and Pastry Chef Leslie Campbell, have opened Delicasa, a European style deli/bakery/coffee shop, which will feature fresh, madeto-order subs, panini, salads and pastries. Delicasa is located in the Plaza del Sol Shopping Center at 720 Saint Michael's Drive.

Sunrise Springs Resort and Spa has opened the Lotus Champagne Bar. Dine al fresco under age-old cottonwood trees, overlooking spring-fed ponds. The Lotus has a selection of more than 30 champagnes and sparkling wines, in addition to a full bar. Executive Chef Eric Laslow has created a special menu of made-to-order ceviches sure to please any palate. Sunrise Springs Resort Spa is located 10 minutes south of Santa Fe at 242 Los Pinos Road.

Buffalo Thunder Coming soon will be the many food and beverage choices at Buffalo Thunder Resort. There will be a coffee house, buffet, grill, the Mica Restaurant and the crown jewel, Mark Miller's Red Sage Restaurant. The Red Sage will feature a bar, outdoor seating and private dining rooms. Chef Miller and his restaurants have been recognized with national acclaim and received many awards. Buffalo Thunder Resort is located about 15 minutes north of Santa Fe at 18 Buffalo Trail.
