Editor's Blog - From Cheryl Bruedigam

12/30/09 -
I have started a blog at
http://southwestflair.blogspot.com/ because this one
is mostly for tidbits and updates that come in after the
current issue is posted, so if you would like to read
more from me on southwest style, please join me there.
12/29/09 -
We have had a white Christmas over much of the
Southwest and it is still going. Fashion
statements here may be on hold in lieu of long johns but
then our ski slopes are the perfect place to flaunt your
latest holiday ski finds and attire so be sure to read
this month's article on Aspen's Winterskol full of fun
and events for you to attend.
Exciting pieces are
forming for 2010 and I am happy to say now include the
The Arizona Renaissance Festival, The Cowgirl Hall of
Fame, and The Flagstaff Yoga Festival, all very
interesting and we are excited to bring them to your
attention in the coming months.

The January issue is up, a little early, but getting
it up early allows us a little time off for the holidays
and of course the December issue is still available in
the back issues. Hope you enjoy our Rejuvenate in
January ideas, make it a great new year!

Hard at work on the December issue, and just to whet
your appetite, let's just say for the ultimate
holiday shopping experience, Rodeo Drive is coming your
way!
In the world of beauty, I
have added the hat of Avon Independent Sales
Representative and I'll tell you why . . . with years of
experience in the beauty and fashion world behind me
(professional model, five years as a beauty consultant),
as well as a being busy corporate executive, whether in
the day-to-day of those executive meetings or soccer
games and booster clubs, I have always tried to be my
best. And I want to bring the best to you.
I chose to represent Avon
for three reasons: After years of battling the elements
of the southwest, my skin was beginning to look like
something that had been bathing on a rock in Socorro.
I have tried many regimens throughout the years but
none has done what Avon's Anew Skin Care system has
accomplished. I feel like I have a new face!
I have been very cautious throughout the years as to the
products I use and what I put onto my skin or into my
body, as a yoga practitioner and certified instructor,
this is important to me. Avon's products are
safely tested and are hypo-allergenic and especially
with the new Avon Naturals line and the new Liv
Botanicals, I can feel safe about the products I am
using and providing for my family.
Additionally, Avon is on
the edge in beauty and skin care development and that
means we can always provide the latest in up-to-date
information, tips and products. And lastly, we
have a very wide range of readers, and of those readers,
a wide range of climate and skin care needs, along with
varied tastes, preferences and budgets. Avon has
something for everyone from teens to fifty-plus; coupled
with a 100% satisfaction guarantee or your money back,
and in today's economy, especially with so much online
shopping, that's important. It's still a little
scary at times to shop online; refunds or exchanges are
difficult and so is customization, so we need a name and
company we can trust with high quality products.
No, this isn't going to
turn into an Avon magazine, but rather I have added one
more resource for reliable, quality information and
products. We do not compromise our content with
any products or advertisements that are not appropriate
to our integrity or that our readers will not benefit
from.
Personally, I hadn't seen
an Avon catalog in quite a while, if you haven't either,
I am sure you will be as surprised and as pleased as I
was! and I cannot shut up about Anew Skin
Care!
With the ease of the
Internet, having an Avon e-rep, shopping online and
receiving orders directly to you, Avon makes sense.
I can now provide even more assistance than I can
squeeze into the pages of this magazine and am as close
as a phone call, an email, or a web visit. If
you would like a sample of Anew Skin Care,
visit my Avon site, register with your mailing
address, and I will send you a sample.

9/30/09 - Because

word) to keep you updated on all the last minute news.
And this month that includes a Countdown to

the info comes in.
