The
Teeter House - Holiday High Teas

(Phoenix, Ariona) The Teeter House, an authentic
Victorian, is the site of treasured traditions as well
as the hub of a variety of new activities. Earning its
reputation as a favorite tea room and lunch spot, the
Teeter House will begin nightly dinner service on
November 1.
The quaint restaurant has been open Friday and Saturday
evenings for several years, offering appetizers,
desserts and live music. Now, with the recent addition
of Chef Jeff Schultz, form Toledo, Ohio, dinner will be
available Wednesday through Sunday nights, featuring
Midwestern Fusion cuisine.
“Our dinner entrees have Midwestern roots, and
Southwestern spirit”, says Lynne Behringer, Teeter House
owner since 1999.
“We will also be serving Sunday brunch beginning
November 4”, Behringer continued. “We would like as
many people as possible to experience this very special
happy place.”
As the holiday season approaches, the Teeter
House will be hosting its ninth annual Victorian Holiday
tea party on December 8. The holiday tea menu, with its
delicate finger sandwiches and sweet treats will be
available every weekend in December. However, Saturday
the eighth will officially ring in the Christmas season
with the beautiful flute and string music from the duo,
Meadowlark.
December 20 marks another anniversary, the
ninth annual Teeter House Christmas High Tea Supper.
“We’ve always filled the house with this four course
holiday highlight”, said Behringer. “This year we will
be offering some wonderful new treats along with our
traditional favorites.” Live guitar music will complete
this magical evening.
On Saturday, December 29, the Teeter House
will host another favorite event, “A Holiday Teddy Bear
Tea Party”. Children from three to twelve are invited
to participate in this fun fiesta of food, frolicking
and fanciful happenings.
