Schuff Steel to host 8th Annual Charity Golf Classic to benefit Desert Voices

The 8th annual Schuff Steel Charity Golf Classic is set for Saturday, April 14th and we are on the hunt for more golfers and sponsors. The day is sure to be filled with family, fun and eagles, birdies, pars and bogeys all benefiting Desert Voices, Arizona’ s only non-profit dedicated to teaching deaf children the power of spoken language.
Severe and profound hearing loss, impacts 3 of every 1,000 children born in the United States. Without organizations like Desert Voices, these children would never have the tools or confidence to learn to speak and communicate orally. Since opening 15 years ago, Desert Voices has provided services to more than 220 children and their families.
Saturday, April 14th
Registration starts at 6am.
Shotgun start at 8am.
Lunch will be served at 12:30pm.
Awards and Raffle ceremony to start at 1pm.

Desert Voices is Arizona’s only non-profit organization dedicated to providing children who are deaf and hard of hearing the listening and spoken language skills needed to learn how to listen and talk. Through early intervention, speech therapy and intense language instruction, Desert Voices helps children who are deaf to learn the language, cognitive and social- emotional competencies that go hand in hand with school readiness and success.
Desert Voices provides life-changing services to children who are deaf and firmly believes that when you give them a voice, you give them a world.
