New Country Song Release from Editor- Though You'd Always Be Right There
Just in time for Mother's Day

Cody Yale

This past Easter, our editor, Cheryl "Cody" Yale-Bruedigam, released her first song, Thought You’d Always Be Right There, on her youtube channel. It is a song about the loss of her mother, whom she lost as an infant, and one she had been working on about four years. It was important to her to release it on Easter in honor of her mother as this is the fiftieth anniversary year of her passing.  It is appropriate now for Mother's Day as well.

It is within the country genre and is on acoustic guitar. The release is really just a first draft and she will continue to improve on it and is working on a music video for the song as well. It was a learning experience for her and has given her a starting point and taken her a step further toward its completion. She has given it a comforting lullaby-feel.

Most of the song was written by the end of 2007 but she just couldn’t get the last verse. Then when her daughter left home for the Air Force the following year, it came to her and she understood, as you will when you hear the song. It has indeed been a labor of love and an extraordinary healing experience for her and can be recognized as such for anyone who has experienced this loss or similar.

We hope that you enjoy Thought You'd Always Be Right There. Copyright 2012 Thirdroad Publishing.

She is releasing under the performance name of Cody Yale and is currently continuing work on this song along with a collection of others she has written.
