Dallas, TX, 2011 – New exhibition, The Fashion World of Jean Paul
Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk, opened on November 13, 2011,
at the Dallas Museum of Art,. Be one of the first to see the U.S.
premiere of this international touring exhibition devoted to the
world-renowned French couturier.
Marking the first time that the DMA will present an exhibition dedicated
to exploring the art of fashion, The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier:
From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk, on view through February 12, 2012,
will provide an unprecedented look at the designer dubbed fashion’s
“enfant terrible,” who designed his first ready-to-wear collection in
1976 and founded his haute couture firm in 1997. The Fashion World of
Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk will celebrate the
boldness and refinement of a multicultural, avant-garde style that
obliterates boundaries while demanding the right to be different. |

The Tuesday–Friday weekday ticket price for adults is $16 and tickets
for Saturday and Sunday is $20. Individual tickets may be
purchased on-site at the DMA, online, or by phone at 214-922-1803.
Tickets for groups (10 or more) are also on sale at 214-922-1222 or by
e-mail at groupsales@DallasMuseumofArt.org.
Children under 12 are Free and DMA members are Free.
Note: DMA members do not have to pre-order tickets to the exhibition.
All members will receive access to the VIP line upon arrival at the
Museum.
