Dallas, TX, 2011 – New exhibition, The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk, opened on November 13, 2011, at the Dallas Museum of Art,. Be one of the first to see the U.S. premiere of this international touring exhibition devoted to the world-renowned French couturier.

Marking the first time that the DMA will present an exhibition dedicated to exploring the art of fashion, The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk, on view through February 12, 2012, will provide an unprecedented look at the designer dubbed fashion’s “enfant terrible,” who designed his first ready-to-wear collection in 1976 and founded his haute couture firm in 1997. The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk will celebrate the boldness and refinement of a multicultural, avant-garde style that obliterates boundaries while demanding the right to be different.
