This year is the Highlands Center for Natural History’s fifth annual Holiday Open House and Artisans Bazaar. It is scheduled for Saturday, November 19th from 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. at the Highlands Center’s James Learning Center located at 1375 S. Walker Rd., Prescott.

Come and meet local artisans who will be selling their creations including metal sculptures, handcrafted linens, silk & natural fiber accessories and clothing, jewelry, wooden art, and other unique items skillfully crafted into beautiful and unique gifts. The Highlands Center’s Benson Family Nature Store has added many new and popular items to their inventory for this event.

A special shopping area will be open just for Kids to give them the opportunity to shop for items $10 and under, for their family and friends. If you are looking for educational nature games and other fun nature related items this is the place to shop and Santa’s Helpers will gift wrap your purchases for FREE!

Enjoy Delicious Delights and Hot Chocolate while you wander the booths or wait for your gifts to be wrapped. And, if you bring in canned goods you will be entered into a drawing for a 20% discount on your total one-time purchases at the Nature store. All donated goods will go to Open Door charity.

While you are at the Center you might enjoy a stroll along one of the paths and trails among the beautiful pines in the Prescott National Forest using one of the Center’s self-guided interpretive trail maps.

As a non-profit, items sold in the store are not taxable and all store proceeds go to support the Center’s many educational programs. A part of the proceeds from the Artisan’s sales will also benefit the Highlands Center’s children’s outdoor educational programs. The Center is located at 1375 S.Walker Rd, Prescott, AZ 86303
