The diverse
personal work of photographer/filmmaker Steven
Kaeppler will be on display in the El Paso
Electric Gallery, South of the Rio Grande
Theatre lobby, for the month of December, 2011.
The show will consist of 16 framed images,
ranging from traditional color landscapes to
non-traditional digital imagery, with occasional
forays into infrared and B&W territory. The
exhibit will run through the month of December
2011, beginning with an artist reception
coinciding with WinterFest on December 2, from 5
to 7pm, as part of the Downtown Art Ramble.
Born in
Philadelphia, but a New Mexico resident since
1977, Steven Kaeppler began his photographic
career at the age of 15, combining his love of
creativity with pursuits in music, theater,
jewelry design and organic farming, to name just
a few. He continues to pursue his love of
creative expression to this day, as a
Film/Photography student at DACC. “This showing
of 16 Photographs at the Rio Grande Theater
represents both my diverse background, and a
return to Artistic Creativity as the main focus
of my life,” Kaeppler says. |
